It Just Wasn’t Good Enough!

Romans 1: 20-21 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

I have become a prepper/survivalist, whatever you want to call it, so I am prepared for when the world really starts to go under.

I have been researching foods that are in the wild. There are so many plants and trees that God provided for us. They nourish us and provide medicine. The Cattail has a part inside of it that is edible and looks like a cheese stick. Maple seeds and acorns are edible and provide vitamins and minerals for our bodies.

As I was doing research today I started to cry because I see how far we have strayed from God. We have told him that is just isn’t good enough. We know better and want better.

We rather eat processed foods that make us fat and unhealthy. We rather work long hours at a desk than tap a tree and make syrup.

This all stems from the enemy. His pride told God that it wasn’t good enough and we followed. Now we have a government that is trying to control and scare us into submission. We have really gotten ourselves into a pickle.

God’s plan and his creation was perfect. He took care of everything and provided all that we needed.

I don’t know how quickly this will all end but I do know that I am changed forever. Even if it still takes a while for Him to come save us (those who believe in their hearts) I want to live my life simpler and get to know him more through his creation.
