“I never knew you, depart from me”

Matthew 7: 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Romans 10: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

This scripture is a perfect way to explain how many who “say” they believe will be told to leave when standing in front of Jesus. He will say “I do not know you”.

The difference is your heart. Do you believe in your heart? If you do, then you will change as a person because He will work in you. You will bear fruit. If you just say it then nothing will change for you or your life. I know many people say if you just confess with your mouth that you will be saved but it is a lie from the enemy. It must be from your heart.

I know it is hard to give your whole heart to Jesus when you have been through so much pain in life, it is hard to trust, especially when it comes to this all powerful God that you can not see. He could destroy anything with a word but He is trustworthy. I have never know so much love, gentleness and patience from anyone here on earth. I am such a better version of myself since giving him my heart.

So, please make sure you aren’t just saying you believe with your mouth, make sure it is in your heart. Receive His Spirit today.
