Matthew 6:31 So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
So I was outside with my dog and God taught me a lesson or actually confirmed something I thought I have seen before. I love how He uses my dog to teach me so often.
We were in the yard and puppy was licking the water off the grass. Initially, I thought you have a whole bowl of water inside, what’s up? Then God reminded me of this Scripture.
I have come across so many people who are out of work or just worrying in general about what they need being provided. I have worried about these things also. Just the other day when I was grocery shopping I was getting aggravated because I couldn’t get enough to fill all my cabinets and refrigerator, but realized I could get everything we actually needed and I had to stop being so selfish and appreciate more.
So anyway, God showed me that we just don’t want to lick the water off of the grass, we rather drink it out of a crystal glass.
When we worry do we actual worry that God won’t provide or do we worry that He won’t provide to our expectation?
Are you content with how the Lord provides or are you like the pagan’s running after what you want?
