John 8:15-16 You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with he Father, who sent me
This morning I noticed that I am starting to have a major issue come up in my life, I can see it coming and I need wisdom on how to detour it before it gets out of hand. I thought I will get on my knees and pray and I will write the Christians I know to pray with me. Then I thought there are some “Christians” I know that I don’t even think will be heard so why waste my time, I should just focus on the ones I know love God, the ones who show the evidence of God’s character being in them (Fruits of the Spirit).
See I am not judging, I am going by what I see and what God has shown me, not by worldly standards but by the Spirit.
Many Christians say “your judging”, but those are the ones who need to hear it, they need to see it is not judging but loving. What we say is not to judge but are actually from God who sent us, He predestined us and sent us to this world. If we all kept quiet and let you live your own life where would you end up for eternity?
God gives us examples in Scripture so we know who our brothers and sisters are, not to judge but to know. It is important for us to know each other to help each other. We need to rebuke each other not to judge but to help them get back on track.
There are so many people in the Church who talk about Jesus, lead groups, and teach. Their motions and words are connected but not their hearts. So all of it is done in vain if your heart is not in it.
Last thing I have to say is I know people who struggle with addictions that I would go to for prayer before some “Christians” I know who do many things in this world. Just because somebody is struggling doesn’t mean their heart isn’t connected to God, they could be one of the people so in love with the Lord that they are in anguish everyday over their struggle. The more you have to conquer in your life the closer you probably are to God, because you need Him and you know it.
God came to save sinners, not justify hypocrites.
The first commandment is “you shall have no other Gods”, Matthew 22:37 says Jesus replied “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”. We are to love Him with every fiber of our being, He should be on your mind all day and in everything you do. If this is true in your life then He will shine through you showing genuine compassion and love to others.
