Mark 2:17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Luke 4:18 “ The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;”
I am so angry, righteous anger though. I see where the Church fails and you try to rebuke them and they ignore and disregard you. Why?
Do they think you are crazy? Do they think you just want to cause trouble? What would a girl who used to be so broken and disgusting to the world be able to tell us who have always been so righteous to follow the Lord?
I have a lot to say, I am not crazy nor am I broken anymore. I am annointed to stand up for the broken and oppressed. What do you do when you bring broken people to your Church and they are wearing a low cut top and Christian men come look at them like a piece of meat, feeding into the brokenness they already feel, confirming that their worth is in their cleavage? What about if you bring someone who looks years beyond their age, and not very appealing to the eye because of their sin and being oppressed and people act as if they have a disease? You say Hi and think you did a good job!
No wonder there are so many broken people walking around rejecting God. When they look to people who are supposed to portray God and see Satan they might as well just keep walking with him.
You sit and think you are so Holy, so righteous, you think you earn favor because you go deal with giving the homeless a bite to eat and then go home to quickly wash off the stench of where you just were.
Well I have news for you, that was just like the Pharissee’s, they did the part to look good and look like they were following God, but when a true follower sees your heart they see how sick you really are.
Jesus sat in the dirt and pain with people, still does. I have seen more Joy and compassion under Whacker drive than I have seen from a lot of people at Church. Does that mean all people in Church are like this, NO, we just aren’t heard. We are left in the background trying hard to be accepted the best we can, God forbid we actually shared how we feel, that might stir things up. No it’s much better that we don’t rebuke eachother, lets just pretend and move on.
Well you know I would still love to help the broken who don’t even know their broken but I guess it has to be one by one. Will many be angry with me, more than likely, is that anything new to me, NO! At least people being angry because light is brought into their darkness will be the reason. Well worth it to me.
If things are to change, you need to ask for compassion, to see things like God does, to feel His pain for the broken sick people of this world. When you start to sit at home and grieve for those who are hurting and want to go share Jesus with them because you feel their pain, then you will know that you are no longer just going through the motions.
Or you could just sit around feeling comfortable. Good luck explaining that one to God!
